We are here to provide advice, information and support for start-up and existing businesses in County Westmeath.  If you are in business or are thinking of setting up your own business we hope you will find useful and helpful information here to help you to develop your business further.

Our support can include advice and business information, selective financial assistance, business training, mentoring and the provision of research services and facilities.  You can also Book Training Courses Online.

Our Business Advisors are available to meet with you from Monday to Friday, by appointment, to discuss your business needs and provide information and support to you.  Appointments can be made by contacting our office at 044-93-49222.  We look forward to meeting with you and assisting you to develop your business.

Westmeath County Enterprise Board are delighted to announce this years nominee for 2013 National Enterprise Board Awards

Kinnegad-based online business, Stagit.ie has been selected to represent Westmeath in the next round of the competition which will see owner Dean Gammell compete with other business from the midlands region.  If successful, Dean will represent Westmeath and compete against five other competitors to take the coveted County & City Enterprise Board National Enterprise Award.

County & City National 50+ Enterprise “Change, Challenge & Opportunity” residential worshop on 1st & 2nd July in Athlone

Individuals aged over 50 who are thinking of starting their own business, or in the early stages of a start-up are being invited to attend this two day National Workshop.  This workshop will focus on giving participants an insight into what is needed to research, start and develop a business.

InnovAIT - Entrepreneurship Academy

Athlone Institute of Technology is now offering students the opportunity to start up their own businesses while at the same time completing the Higher Diploma in Entrepreneurship.

National Women’s Enterprise Day 2013 - 16th & 17th October

The National Women's Enterprise Day aims to inspire, activate and assist women across Ireland in running their own business. National Women's Enterprise Day 2013 will take place on 16th & 17th October in Heritage Hotel, Portlaoise.
