Creating an Internet Presence for your Business

Programme Aim

Participants will develop and maintain a basic website for their business using a free service without requiring any expensive software. They will learn the basics of effective website design and image optimisation for the internet. Subjects such as business blogging and how to be found by search engines will be covered.

This programme is delivered using an online tool called Site-kreator. This course is more suited for a non-technical audience than tools such as Dreamweaver or Frontpage. Participants need to be comfortable using both computers and the internet and will need to have access to broadband to maintain and develop their site afterwards.
The entry level version in each instance is free to use.
