Each participant will understand how email newsletters fit into the marketing mix, how they can be used most effectively and will leave having written a number of newsletters using the software on the course.
Programme Content
Initially each business will do a quick intro and we will identify the target market and message for each participants email newsletter. We will look at the tools available, the technology limitations and the best practice for this medium. Then they build and send a couple of email newsletters for their business to the rest of the group. The afternoon session explores some of the main functionality, which mail chimp offers. The service is an online one called www.mailchimp.com. It combines powerful functionality with a free service up to 2,000 subscribers and/or 10,000 emails a month - essentially free for the majority of SME’s
