Westmeath Women in Business learn the biggest asset their businesses have is themselves!
The message conveyed to Westmeath Business women who attended the Westmeath County Enterprise Board women in business network meeting was to create a powerful business presence through dress and presentation.
The seminar, entitled ‘You are your own business card’, the first of the 2008 series of women in business network meetings was organised by Westmeath County Enterprise Board. The event aimed to encourage female business owner/managers to step back from day to day activities and take some time to consider their companies image and brand message and to remind them that they are the company’s best asset.
Keynote speaker, Rita Mylett, owner of RMI Branding provided attendees with a presentation on making the most of their personal skills and personal presentation to market their business, create leads and increase sales.
Commenting after the meeting, Westmeath Enterprise Board CEO, Christine Charlton said ‘All businesses no matter what sector they operate in, are continuously striving to maintain and increase sales. Sometimes we forgot how important we are in the sales process and how critical it is in securing sales to make a first and lasting impression on customers’.
Westmeath County Enterprise Board runs a series of women in business events throughout the year. The next meeting, taking place on May 7th at the Mullingar Park Hotel will address managing personal finances and wealth management for women.
