2 Exciting New Supports for Women in Business
Firstly, a reminder to all Women in Business that the annual National Womens Enterprise Day will take place in Portlaoise from November 16-17th. This is a great day out for any women in business, as well as listening to excellent speakers who speak from the heart about running their own business, there is a chance to sit back and think about your business and where it is going. Westmeath County Enterprise Board will pay the delegate fee of €100.00 for a limited number of participants. Secondly, women in business are invited to take part in the Going for Growth Programme. This round-table programme is designed to foster development through strucutred, agenda-led discussion within the group about various aspects of business expansion and growth. There is no fee for participation in the programme and previously participants have enjoyed the programme as well as finding it of great benefit to their business. Suitable applicants to the programme will be at least two years running a business of which they own at least 50%, be working full-time on the business, and be willing to commit fully to the initiative.
