Comprising of One to One clinics
The programme will be aimed at established small businesses who have an existing track record to assess and improve. It will consist of an initial one to one business review meeting with a general business mentor to identify a list of current issues and challenges facing the business.
Review Your Business (One to one session with Mentor onsite in clients business)
The Business performance, Customers, Financials and your Business Strategy going forward will be reviewed. Businesses will be given an action plan and set of tools from which they can measure business performance against targets.
Initial Visit
To be conducted at client's premises involving a confidential review/evaluation of all aspects of existing business and jointly developing an action programme.
Some suggestions for inclusion in the initial review meeting
How is Business Planned - are Targets for next year/three years defined and key challenges identified
How is Business generated -- Marketing and Sales
How are Customers retained --Customer Service
How is performance measured -Availability and Understanding of Management Accounts such as P & L, and Balance Sheet.
How is costing developed - the use of Material Labour and allocated overhead to establish Cost and Price
How is Cash Managed - Credit Control and Debtor management
From these or any other areas which the client wishes a practical action plan is developed with the client.
This plan will be based on the clients needs but also to a large extent on what based on my own experience in industry would suit and be of benefit to the client without being to onerous or costing them money.
Getting Your Business Fit (Delivered in clients premises)
This will involve looking at the true cost of your product or service and ways in which your business can reduce “black holes” areas of high cost and improve service while developing and sustaining your business.
This will consist of a second site visit to a) review progress on implementation of Plan b) make appropriate adjustments and additions based on that implementation and c) ensure client has an understanding of how to measure future business performance.

Taxation Clinic 25th Nov – Tax advisor available to provide one to one advice on Taxation matters such as outstanding returns, advice on instalment arrangements etc.
