Grant Claim Procedure

Capital, Employment and Feasibility Study Grants

In order to facilitate a smooth drawdown of your grant claim, Westmeath County Enterprise Board Ltd.require that the promoter returns the relevant claim form with the relevant documentation.

Claim forms required are as follows:

RS. 9.8 (a) Capital Grant Claim Form for Capital Grants

RS. 9.8 (b) Employment Grant Claim Form for Employment Grants

RS. 9.8 (c) Feasibility Study Grant Claim Form  for Feasibility Study Grants

The grant drawdown procedure and appropriate supporting documentation will be explained to the promoter initally at the application stage and again at the contract signing stage. Successful applicants have 3 months to draw down their capital grants, 12 months to draw down their employment grants and 6 months to draw down their feasibility study grant.

As the claim procedure may prove to be an onerous exercise, we encourage the successful applicant to liaise with the Enterprise Officer as often as necessary for assistance with the grant claim.

No grant claim can be certified for payment until the Enterprise Officer and CEO have all the necessary documentation. If the claim is not submiited in full before the final drawdown date (with all supporting documenation), the grant may be decommitted , either in part or in full.
