Please find enclosed details of a training programme for which Westmeath County Enterprise Board is seeking tenders.

Tender Specification for supply of Google “Getting Irish Businesses Started Online” Training 2011

Tenders are invited for the delivery of a specific training programme entitled “Getting Irish Businesses Started Online” on behalf Westmeath County Enterprise Board Limited (WCEB).

This is part of an initiative between Google, An Post, Blacknight and the County & City Enterprise Boards aimed at increasing the number of businesses with an on-line presence in Ireland. Google are making available basic template websites free to all registered businesses for a limited time.

It is estimated that up to a max of 3 x 2 Day training programme will be required within Westmeath during the months of June, - November, aimed at assisting businesses to set up their new website presence. The programme outline is attached (see Appendix 1).

The successful tenderer(s) will be required to attend a half day training course with Google at their headquarters in Dublin at their own cost. The date for the training is the 30th of May. Depending on availability and numbers their maybe another session provided that week. Trainers are required to provide their own laptops for the training if possible.

 The closing date for receipt of proposals is 4 pm Monday 23rd May. Tenders received after the deadline will not be accepted.
