
Applications are now being accepted for the 2010 Midlands & West Enterprise Programme.
This one year programme, based at Midland Innovation and Research Centre, Athlone provides high potential entrepreneurs and innovative start ups with the business skills, networks, facilities, and supports necessary to navigate the business start up process from concept to successful commercialisation.
Participants will receive :
Strucutured business development training
A network of industry experts and peer entrepreneurs
Regular reviews of business performance / business counselling
Assignment of an experienced business mentor
Incubation facilities including indivdual desk space, VoIP telephony, broadband access, meeting and conference facilities, print, photocopying and fax facilities and accesss to the facilities adn research resources of Athlone Institute of Technology and Galway-Mayo Institute of Technology.
Eligible participants may apply to Enterprise Ireland for CORD funding which could provide up to 50% of previous years salary.
Participants should :
Have an innovative business idea with growth and export potential.
Be graduates (diploma level of higher) with a number of years industry experience.
Have the enthusiasm and drive necessary to develop and grow a successful business.
