In September 2009, the Enterprise Board will launch a new Competition for all secondary schools in Westmeath. The programme aims to encourage & stimulate students to think of Enterprising Business Ideas.
The Competition focus will be on coming up with a New Business Idea or an improvement to an exisiting Business Idea for the supply of either a Product or a Service. There will be cash prizes for the winners with the best idea. Students will be required to complete a short application form with details of their innovative idea. (N.B. no Business Plan is required to enter the competition). Closing Date is 16 October 2009. Application forms can be got from the link below or from your school. Completed forms should be posted to Westmeath County Enterprise Board, Church Avenue, Mullingar.
Prizes will be awarded in 3 Categories;
Junior - 1st Years - Winner €200
Intermediate - 2nd Year/3rd Years - Winner €200
Senior - 4th/TY's /5th/6th Years - Winner €250
